We just returned from nine days in Iceland. Some friends from Tahoe had scheduled a trip before Covid, and it was delayed until this year. So we joined them, plus all Covid restrictions have been gone in Iceland since the spring of 2022, only tourists were wearing masks.
We are close to the halfway point (I hope), and I will start posting pictures as rooms complete.

So we've reached the point of maximum destruction. From here on it will be putting it all back together. Kitchen ripped out, new cabinets here and ready to go in. Popcorn and wall paper removed from everywhere, except where we have furniture and cabinets stacked up....

Most of you know we made our escape from CA. Bay area people discovered working remotely and started moving up to Tahoe, wait til the first big winter to see how that shakes out.
